Beijing, China – August 8-12, 2025 – Boreasa presented its high-power-density slotless brushless DC motors and complete drive systems at the 2025 World Robot Conference. Boreasa's CPO Simon Wei was featured as a keynote speaker, highlighting Boreasa's latest innovations in high-end motor technology to an international audience.

In his keynote, Simon Wei highlighted how Boreasa, drawing on the expertise of its China–Switzerland joint R&D team and a forward-thinking engineering approach, has secured a leading position in the slotless BLDC motor industry.

Leveraging its proprietary electromagnetic simulation system, Boreasa achieves precise motor design optimization. This is further enhanced by patented straight-wound litz wire coils, maximized stator utilization, and an exceptionally high copper fill factor. The result is motors that deliver impressive high-speed torque and peak efficiencies up to 92.9%, outperforming industry standards in both power density and efficiency.

When it comes to stability and reliability, Boreasa has introduced a pioneering 3D suspension bearing system and utilizes a micro-rotor dynamic balancing technology with world-class precision. These innovations collectively ensure extended service life, exceptional reliability, low noise, and minimal vibration, making Boreasa motors an ideal choice for medical devices, aerospace, and other high-demand applications.

Boreasa has also introduced a versatile motor lineup, spanning diameters from 10 mm to 22 mm and available in short, medium, and long-length configurations. Highlighting applications that demand high precision, such as robotic dexterous hands.

During his speech, Wei noted: “Our miniature 4-pole 10 mm and 13 mm motors deliver outstanding nominal torque and power density, while reducing reliance on gearboxes. This provides dexterous hands with the ‘powerful yet delicate’ force they require. Meanwhile, the 22 mm motor offers robust torque to reliably drive small joints, balancing strength with agility.”
